ABOUT MARK DESERF, OUR FOUNDER

Mark DeSerf is a highly experienced Fashion and Interior Stylist, and Visual Merchandising consultant. He has a reputation for innovative, resourceful thinking and his energetic manner. Mark’s work has been described as “very real and resonating with a large range of people” and being “able to transform ideas and rough concepts into incredible visual displays.”

Over the years, Mark has guided Sigrid Olsen, Adrienne Vittadini, Kensie, Kensie Girl and Mac & Jac as their Director of Visual Merchandising. In this role, he helped these brands across a variety of areas such as envisioning retail, showroom and tradeshow environments; organizing fashion shows; launching brands in other countries; styling lookbooks and mailers; to overseeing licensees to ensure brand quality and aesthetics are consistent. He has also worked with Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor and Bloomingdale’s as a Fashion Coordinator where he provided fashion direction for the stores’ windows and interior displays. At Saks Fifth Avenue, Mark had the opportunity to closely collaborate with designers such as Geoffrey Beene, Donna Karan, Bill Blass and Oscar de la Renta to ensure the vision for their Fifth Avenue flagship store came to life on-brand.

As an interior stylist, Mark has collaborated with designers Sigrid Olsen and Adrienne Vittadini on their home interiors. He has also partnered with Mecox Garden in New York City and The Hamptons to develop their merchandising concepts and windows. Mark continues to collaborate with private clients to design the interiors of their homes across New York City, The Hamptons, Connecticut and New Jersey.

Mark has recently collaborated with fashion designer, Jude Connally to better develop her brand’s image across trade show booths, freestanding and shop-in-shop environments and style her ad campaigns. He is also collaborating with Perry Ellis International with their Rafaella Clothing brand to create their showroom installations and style their seasonal ad campaigns as well as the Laundry by Shelli Segal brand to style their e-commerce photoshoots.
